Neurological Physiotherapy

Neurological physiotherapy is a specialist area of physiotherapy focused on treating conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. It helps individuals improve movement, regain function, and maintain independence in daily life.

Whether someone is recovering from a stroke or brain injury, living with a spinal cord injury, or managing a long-term condition such as Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis, physiotherapy can play a key role in supporting mobility, strength, balance, and confidence.

All therapy is delivered at home, in the place of residence, including care homes, or out in the community making rehabilitation practical, accessible, and rooted in real-world activity.

Neurological physiotherapy is a core component of Wessex Rehab’s multidisciplinary service.

Physiotherapy services are provided by Wessex Neuro Physio.
